Sheriff To Address Budget Cuts, Concerns

Town Hall Starts At 6 P.M.

Las Vegas Metro police Sheriff Doug Gillespie will answer questions from the public regarding upcoming budget cuts during a town hall meeting Monday night.

Topics at the meeting will include: funding and budget cuts, the More Cops Tax, staffing and changes to service, as well as a question-and-answer session with Gillespie.

The event is one of two presentations this week, scheduled for:

  • Monday, Feb. 22
  • 6:00 p.m.
  • Theater Sierra Vista High School Cafeteria
  • 8100 W. Robindale Road
  • Thursday, Feb. 25
  • 6:00 p.m.
  • Whitney Library, Concert Hall
  • 5175 E. Tropicana Avenue
