Amber Alert For 18-Month-Old Ends

Police: Father Can Legally Take Child

NYE COUNTY, Nev. -- Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a 18-month-old boy who was taken by his father at about 3 p.m. in Pahrump.

According to the Nye County Sheriff's Office, the alert has been canceled because the father has legal custody of the child.
