LAS VEGAS -- The Nevada Gaming Commission approved the gaming license for CityCenter’s ARIA Resort Thursday, less than one month before its grand opening, with a unanimous vote.
Video: Get A Sneak Peak Into The New CityCenterApproval was expected after the Gaming Control Board’s recommendation last week.ARIA is the only casino property within the $8.5 billion CityCenter complex. Its twin glass hotel towers will house more than 4,000 rooms and the resort will also be home to the new Elvis Presley-themed Cirque du Soleil show.CityCenter’s first tower, Vdara, will open Dec. 1, followed by the Crystals retail complex and Mandarin Oriental hotel.ARIA opens Dec. 16.
