LAS VEGAS -- Runners in Saturday’s annual Las Vegas Santa Run will want to wear some extra layers under their Santa suits.With a freeze warning issued for Friday night, temperatures will likely be in the 40s when the run begins at Town Square. But hopefully, a large turnout will warm the spirits of everyone taking part.This year’s Santa Run is a FOX5 Take 5 To Care sponsored by Golden Gaming. FOX5 is hoping to break the world record for most Santas this year.Join the FOX5 Santa Run Team!There’s also a new contest -- a best-dressed Santa dog competition. There will be performances and appearances by: Siegfried and Roy, Mayor Oscar Goodman, Zowie Bowie, Robin Leach, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and many more!
