LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas is in a pretty deep financial hole, and the city council is asking for residents’ help.Leaders are looking to local families for their thoughts on city programs and services and for ideas on how to boost the budget.Video:

It’s designed to understand our attitudes and thoughts about Sin City.The city of Las Vegas faces a $240 million budget shortfall over the next five years. Some locals offered creative ideas at Wednesday night’s city council meeting, such as giving out more comps and having Mayor Oscar Goodman talk to the Mafia about money-making tips.You can log on to the city's Web site to give them a piece of your mind, whether it's a bad review or a good one.A survey done by the city showed one-quarter of its residents are looking for some sort of supplemental income.
