LAS VEGAS -- Two motorcyclists that collided with a car Wednesday night were riding on their rear tires before the impact, Las Vegas Metro police said Wednesday.One of the motorcyclists, a 22-year-old was killed in the accident. His 20-year-old friend, Allen Blunk, was rushed to University Medical Center in critical condition.Both men collided with a car that pulled in front of them at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Edmond Street. Blunk’s motorcycle then slammed into another vehicle, injuring the 61-year-old driver.It was the second deadly motorcycle accident in Las Vegas this week.Monday night a 27-year-old man was killed after speeding through an intersection and colliding with a car pulling into a private drive near Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue.Police said the motorcyclist sped up at the intersection to avoid an ambulance that was driving through with its lights and sirens on.
