LAS VEGAS -- It's a sweet deal for children this Halloween holiday.A Las Vegas Valley dentist is giving cash for kids to trade in their treats. Wagner Dental in Summerlin is offering a dollar and a raffle ticket for every pound of candy each child brings in.The raffle is for an iPod shuffle. But the deal serves a much bigger cause.“We thought, ‘What's a good way to bring in some of that candy and get out of kids' hands to make it easier for parents and also do something good with the candy,’" said Dr. Kent Wagner. All the candy collected will be donated to U.S. troops through Operation Gratitude.Children can trade in their candy from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.
