LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro police identified the family members killed in what they described as a murder-suicide on the city’s east side. The two older victims, 80-year-old Paul Okin and 75-year-old Genevieve Okin, were husband and wife. Neighbors said the third person, 46-year-old Maque Okin, was the couple’s son.A coroner has only released the cause of death for Genevieve Okin, saying she died of a gunshot wound to the head. Police suspected the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide and said they found a note inside the home at the Palms Garden Community on Canna Drive near Tropicana Avenue.“I've been here eight years, and I know all the families. Five-hundred-ninety-nine homes, and that was a nice family,” said security officer Terry Muchison.
