LAS VEGAS -- Add John Ensign’s parents to the list of Republicans for Reid.Michael and Sharon Ensign donated $4,800, the maximum donation, to Nevada Sen. Harry Reid during the third fundraising quarter, according to a report from political newspaper Roll Call.Related Link: Reid Halfway To $25M Fundraising GoalReid announced last week that he was halfway toward his $25 million fundraising goal for the 2010 election.He is facing a growing number of Republican opponents, including former state GOP chairwoman Sue Lowden, Reno attorney Chuck Kozak, state Sen. Mark Amodei, former state Assemblywoman Sharron Angle and Danny Tarkanian.But Reid has his Republican supporters, as evidenced by a list of contributors released earlier this year. Nevada First Lady Dawn Gibbons, Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta and entertainer Wayne Newton were among those on the list.
