NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Three North Las Vegas brothers, ages 14, 16 and 18, were injured after they were confronted by a large group of teenagers Thursday afternoon while walking home from Rancho High School.A physical fight occurred, and one brother was stabbed multiple times, police said. Another suffered blunt force trauma that may have been caused by a bat, police said. The fight occurred at about 2:40 p.m. near Civic Center Drive and Webb Street. North Las Vegas police said they believe the group of teenagers was also Rancho High School students.
3 Teen Brothers Injured In AltercationThe three brothers were picked up by a family member, who then stopped at 22nd Street and Owens to call police. The teens were then transported to University Medical Center with what police said were considered to be non-life-threatening injuries.It’s unknown what led to the stabbing. Police said they were interviewing witnesses and had not released any suspect information Thursday evening.
