LAS VEGAS -- Several FOX5 viewers have asked about the funeral procession for Officer Milburn Beitel, who died last week following a fiery car accident.Las Vegas Metro police said the procession will close several roads before and after Beitel’s funeral at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church on Pueblo Vista Drive near Lake Mead Boulevard and Durango Drive.9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Depart from Palm Mortuary 1325 N. Main Street 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Enroute and arrival at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church at 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Services at the church 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Enroute to grave site service at Palms Mortuary 7600 S. Eastern Avenue The procession from Palm Mortuary on Main Street to the church will take the following route:South on Main Street East on Washington Avenue South on Las Vegas Boulevard North on U.S. 95 West on Summerlin Parkway North on Durango Drive East on Vegas Drive North on Puebla Vista Drive to church Pueblo Vista Drive will be shut down to north and southbound traffic from Vegas Drive to Lake Mead Boulevard from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.The procession from the church to Palm Mortuary Green Valley will take the following route:North on Pueblo Vista Drive West on Lake Mead South on 215 (only southbound lanes will be closed) Exit at Warm Springs Road (traveling east) South on Topaz Street To 7600 S. Eastern Avenue (Palm Mortuary) Eastern Avenue will be closed to north and southbound traffic from Robindale Road to Warm Springs Road from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.Visitation services began Tuesday afternoon for Las Vegas Metro police Beitel at Palm Mortuary on 1325 N. Main St.Metro police have not released details of the accident that killed Beitel and sent his partner, 25-year-old David Nesheiwat, to a hospital. Doctors said Nesheiwat is expected to make a full recovery.The officers were leaving a call late Wednesday night when their police cruiser flipped over and caught fire at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.It’s unknown who was driving, but police said there was no collision with any other vehicles and no one has been charged in the accident.Beitel, a Silverado High School graduate, had been with Metro police for nearly six years.
