The Clark County School District’s Virtual High School will open its doors to students and parents Tuesday night during the first open house of the new school year.

Fall semester classes are already at or over capacity at the school as more part-time and full-time students sign up for online classes.

The virtual school began granting diplomas during the 2004-05 school year and has grown into the state’s largest high school based on enrollment.

Despite the surge in enrollment for the fall semester, potential students are encouraged to attend Tuesday’s open house at the new Vegas PBS Educational Technology Campus at 3050 E. Flamingo Road.

The open house begins at 6 p.m. More information about the virtual school can be found at its Web site.
