Police are investigating another murder-suicide in the Las Vegas Valley, and this one has a bizarre twist.

A Summerlin man wrote a letter to Metro police admitting he killed his wife two years ago and announcing plans to kill himself.

When police arrived at his home Thursday, they found the man's body and the wife's remains.

The bodies were found in a home on the 1500 block of Willowbank Court.

The letter sent to police was postmarked three days ago. Police said it was handwritten and about a page and a half long and contained the confession.

Neighbors said they were shocked, especially when they found out there was a body sitting inside the house for the past two years. The people who lived here said the woman was from another country. They said she was Asian and in her 60s.

She would meticulously keep the front yard neat, but neighbors said she hasn't been seen in a couple of years and the yard was a mess. They described the man as white and in his 60s. They said he hasn't been seen much over the past two years.

Investigators would not give any specifics of how the woman was killed or where her body was stored for the last two years. Neighbors said they did not smell a foul order.

They said they will release more information once the next of kin has been notified.
