LAS VEGAS -- The Las Vegas woman believed to have been shot to death by her boyfriend was identified Tuesday as 29-year-old Sarah Wayson.

Wayson’s body was found on a couch Monday by a housekeeper who came to the home on Sun Village Avenue near East Cactus Avenue and South Maryland Parkway.

Police believe she had been shot several days ago.

The body of Wayson’s boyfriend was found in an upstairs bedroom. Police said at first glance, the shootings appear to be a murder-suicide but the official cause of death has not been released.

A neighbor told FOX5 he heard gunshots Friday night, but when police arrived at the scene they could not determine where the sound came from.
