LAS VEGAS -- A Las Vegas Nevada State Bank executive has been arrested on charges of open and gross lewdness after being accused of putting his hand down a man’s pants.Metro police said David Hiner, 65, was arrested Thursday. He is vice president and community development officer with the bank.Hiner is accused of putting his hand down the back of a man’s pants after running his hand up and down the man’s back after a business meeting while on bank property in July, according to a police report.The victim also accused Hiner of making unwanted flirtatious and sexually explicit comments to him over the past three months before the incident, the report said.The victim told police he did not report the incident because he was embarrassed. He said he did ask the bank to pay for counseling, which he said it refused. The victim said Hiner quit referring business to him since the incident, the report said.Hiner denied the allegations and said the bank investigated the man’s complaint. He said he was placed on one week’s paid suspension but was cleared of any wrongdoing. Hiner told police he thinks the man told the story because Hiner had not been sending him business, the report said.A witness told police she saw Hiner touch the victim under the pants, the report said.Hiner worked with the bank for 14 years and also worked on community projects.
