LOS ANGELES -- The body of a former Las Vegas swimsuit model has been found in a suitcase in Los Angeles, according to the LAPD.Jasmine Fiore, 28, was reported missing to LAPD by her family on Saturday. She had last spoken with family members on Friday and was last seen at around 8:30 p.m. Friday at her residence in the 800 block of Edinburgh Avenue, near Melrose Avenue.Fiore has only recently moved from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, police said. Her mother, Lisa Lepore, told police Fiore has appeared as a model in advertising for radio personality Howard Stern and Las Vegas hotels and also worked for Playboy as a representative and coordinator for "Girls of Golf." She said she moved to Los Angeles to start a personal training business.Lepore also said Jasmine recently changed her last name to Kincaid. She said Jasmine had recently dyed her brown hair from blond to black. She described her as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds.Buena Park police said a man looking for recyclables in a Dumpster found a small suitcase with a nude body stuffed into it at about 7 a.m. Saturday at a Buena Park apartment complex in the 7400 block of Franklin Street. The body was identified as Fiore’s.An autopsy performed Sunday showed Fiore suffered physical trauma, but the cause of death has not been determined pending toxicology testing, police said.Fiore’s body was in a small unzipped suitcase described by police as 2 feet wide by 3 feet long and about 2 feet tall.Police said Fiore was believed to have died a couple of hours before her body was found.According to TMZ, police are searching for a person of interest in connection with the death of Fiore, and they fear he may be on the run.Ryan Alexander Jenkins, 32, married the victim earlier this year. Jenkins was a contestant on "Megan Wants a Millionaire" on VH1, TMZ said.The star, Megan Hauserman, told TMZ Jenkins met Fiore at a strip club in Las Vegas where she worked as a dancer. Hauserman said Jenkins married Fiore two days later.Jenkins, who was a finalist on the show, went to Las Vegas after getting booted from the show and met Fiore, TMZ said.TMZ said they spoke with Hauserman who said Jenkins was smart and nice, and she was shocked by the turn of events.
