Cordova Charged With Six Felonies

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A North Las Vegas police officer is accused of using a department-owned credit card to make illegal purchases.Authorities said Benjamin Cordova, 39, used the card on at least three occasions. He was arrested this morning, after someone within the department reported the credit card’s disappearance.Cordova has been with the department since 2003. He is charged with three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and three counts of receiving property obtained by unlawful use of a credit card. All are felony charges.Cordova has been placed on paid administrative leave.
