The cruiser was pushed into a van stopped at the red light at Owens Avenue.

None of the injuries were life-threatening and police said the officer was awake and alert when he was rushed to University Medical Center.

Police have only identified the driver of the pickup truck, 46-year-old Daniel Flores-Martin. He has not been charged in the accident, but authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
