LAS VEGAS -- The search for a Nevada mother suspected of kidnapping her four children will focus on California and Mexico.Authorities canceled the Amber Alert for Nevada Tuesday morning, citing tips received by investigators searching for 34-year-old Clair Tourand.Nevada Amber Alert Web SiteThe Amber Alert was activated Saturday, after Tourand failed to show up for a meeting with Social Services. The judge who issued a court order for their return said there was an immediate risk to the four children.Investigators believe Tourand is headed to Mexico and is no longer in Nevada. The California Amber Alert will remain in effect for now.Police said they are questioning the father of Tourand’s children, who is currently in the Washoe County Jail. He is charged with crimes not related to the Amber Alert.The children are Ivan Mata-Martinez, 9; Jaklyne Mata-Martinez, 8; Megan Mata-Martinez, 7; and Tyson Mata-Martinez, 4.
