LAS VEGAS -- Nevada Sen. John Ensign is losing voter support as details of his sex scandal continue to be made public.Survey: Should Sen. John Ensign Resign?In response to a FOX5 Web poll, 53 percent of people said the Republican should resign from office. The poll was posted shortly after noon Thursday, when the Web was overrun with news of $96,000 in payments from Ensign’s parents to his mistress’s family.An earlier FOX5 poll, posted shortly after Ensign admitted to the affair with a former campaign staffer, found Ensign still had support among southern Nevada voters, a majority of whom said they would vote to re-elect the senator.Ensign has served in the Senate since 2001.
