LAS VEGAS -- A child was recovering Wednesday night after a near drowning.The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. in east Las Vegas, near South Eastern Avenue and East Desert Inn Road.Paramedics were called to revive a 1-year-old who was found unconscious underwater.CPR was administered, and the toddler was breathing when taken to Sunrise Children's Hospital for observation.
