LAS VEGAS -- Police are looking at whether charges should be filed against a driver who hit a pedestrian on a sidewalk.The collision occurred just before 8 a.m. Tuesday near West Cheyenne Avenue and North Rainbow Boulevard.Martha Aceto, 39, was headed south on Rainbow Boulevard when she drifted onto the sidewalk and hit 55-year-old Beverly Gross.Police said Aceto had a child in the car with her.Gross was taken to University Medical Center, where she was being treated for critical injuries Tuesday.
