LAS VEGAS -- For the second time in one week, the Southern Nevada Health District announced an H1N1-related death.The victim, a 51-year-old Clark County man, was hospitalized June 25 and died July 3. Health officials said he suffered from an underlying medical condition that likely contributed to the illness.H1N1 was also blamed for the recent death of a 33-year-old man who was the first local resident to succumb to the virus.Health officials said there have been 110 confirmed H1N1 cases in southern Nevada, but only three people remain hospitalized. Two of the patients are in serious condition and the third is improving.Seven people are being treated with flu-like symptoms but test results have not confirmed H1N1 infection.
