NORTH LAS VEGAS -- Nearly 20,000 people packed a North Las Vegas park to kick off the Fourth of July holiday.It was the North Las Vegas Independence Day Jubilee. This year's event paid tribute to our troops.There was an area for children to write to soldiers who are overseas. Those letters will be sent to chapels and military hospitals for troops that have been wounded.
