LAS VEGAS -- The days of elaborate Fourth of July fireworks on the Las Vegas Strip appear to have passed.As the weekend approaches, none of the Strip resorts have announced plans for a coordinated fireworks show, leaving local chain Station Casinos as the main supplier of holiday spectacle.See Station Casinos Fireworks LocationsThe company plans to launch fireworks from its 10 properties at 9:30 p.m. Saturday night. Supplied by Grucci’s of New York, “Station’s Fourth of July Blast” is billed as the largest fireworks show in the country.On the Strip, Mandalay Bay is planning a fireworks show to coincide with a performance by the Mystic Roots band at Mandalay Bay Beach.The M Resort and Rio Hotel and Casino are also advertising fireworks shows Saturday night.Full List Of Independence Day CelebrationsIn downtown Henderson, a fireworks show will begin shortly before 9 p.m. from atop City Hall. The display will be the culmination of a festival being held at the Henderson Events Plaza. Admission and parking is free.For Las Vegans who don’t mind taking a short road trip to see some fireworks, there will be plenty to see outside of town Saturday night.Primm Valley Casino Resorts, Boulder City, Lake Las Vegas, Pahrump Nugget, Sun City Mesquite and Laughlin are all advertising fireworks shows.
