Las Vegas Metro police said a motorcyclist was killed after a collision with a CAT bus this morning near Desert Inn Road and Pecos McLeod.

Police said the man, who hasn't been identified, was traveling at a high rate of speed approaching a red light and couldn’t slow down in time. The motorcycle collided with the bus in front of it.

The driver was killed instantly, and the motorcycle caught fire.
