LAS VEGAS -- A woman whom police said was driving drunk was blamed for a crash that killed a motorcyclist early Monday morning.

Police said the driver, who hasn’t been identified, pulled into the motorcyclist’s path near Blue Diamond Road and Durango Road. The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.

“Signs of alcohol were detected,” said Nevada Highway Patrol spokesperson Kevin Honea when asked about the woman’s condition. She was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
