LAS VEGAS -- Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons is declining to speculate on Sen. John Ensign's political future after the Republican admitted having an extramarital affair with a former campaign worker.But Gibbons said he feels "very badly for the senator and his wife, Darlene, adding that the family has "a lot of work to do to get through this."Survey: Would You Vote To Re-Elect Sen. John Ensign?Gibbons, who is currently divorcing first lady Dawn Gibbons, said Ensign and his family will have to determine how the affair will affect his future. Gibbons himself has been accused of carrying on affairs with two female friends, Kathy Karrasch and Leslie Durant.Karrasch is the woman whom the governor had text messaged hundreds of times over a several week period in 2007, while Durant, who once posed for Playboy, is the ex-wife of former Reno Mayor Pete Sferrazza.In his statement this week, Gibbons offered his support, but said he has not talked with Ensign since Tuesday's announcement of the affair.Survey: Will Ensign's Affair Hurt His Chances In A Presidential Race?
