LAS VEGAS -- A spokesman for Nevada Sen. John Ensign said the senator was forced to reveal his affair because the husband of the woman involved had contacted a television station.Ensign admitted having an extramarital relationship with the wife of staff member and friend, Doug Hampton.He and wife, Cindy, criticized the senator for revealing the affair, saying it was private.
