LAS VEGAS -- Nevada Sen. John Ensign has resigned from his position as chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee after admitting he cheated on his wife, according to the Associated Press.Ensign had been the fourth-ranking Republican, behind the party leader, Whip, and Republican Conference Chairman.
