LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro Police Officer James Manor will be among the officers honored Thursday night at the dedication ceremony for the new Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial.The statue was erected in Police Memorial Park near Cheyenne Avenue and Metro Academy Way. It features three 21-foot spirals representing local, state and federal law enforcement. An eternal flame sits atop each spiral to honor those lost in the line of duty.Officer James Manor died May 7 in a collision with a pickup truck.A candlelight procession will follow Thursday’s ceremony, which will include speeches from Sheriff Doug Gillespie and Mayor Oscar Goodman.
