LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro police will not file charges against a teenager who made a false 911 call that led to an officer’s death.Officer James Manor was responding to the report of domestic violence when his police cruiser collided with a pickup truck.Police said the girl who made the call believed there was an emergency, but the officer who eventually arrived found there was none. Metro would not go into detail about the girl or why she called 911.Las Vegans are divided over whether the girl should be punished, and a number of FOX viewers have left comments on THE RANTr.Police said in this case the teen won’t be punished and they do not want this incident to discourage others from dialing 911 for emergency services.
