A representative for M Resort told FOX5 the decision to eliminate 100 workers is a result of “fine tuning” at the newly opened Las Vegas property.
The workers, which made up about five percent of the M Resort workforce, were let go last week. More than 200 additional workers were hired shortly after the property opened in March.
An M representative said the layoffs came from multiple departments, including the casino and restaurant staff.
