Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons ordered flags at the state Capitol to be lowered to half-staff Thursday and Friday in memory of Metro Police Officer James Manor.

Services for Manor begin Thursday with a viewing from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Palm Mortuary at 1325 N. Main St.

Manor’s funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the International Church of Las Vegas.

A small police procession will precede the funeral and a much larger motorcade that includes the Honor Guard and more than 100 police vehicles will transport Manor’s body to Palm Mortuary and Cemetery near Jones and Interstate 215.

FOX5 will have live coverage of the procession beginning on FOX5 Live In Las Vegas with updates during MORE.
