LAS VEGAS -- Some of NASCAR's top drivers auctioned themselves off to raise money for local children’s charities.NASCAR fans packed in to bid on a live auction with several drivers including Elliot Sadler, Casey Mears and Aric Almirola.Up for sale was some signed gear and the chance to ride with the drivers in a convertible during race introductions just minutes before the green flag drops."If it wasn't for our race fans, we wouldn't be able to do this at all. So, anytime we can do something to raise money to give back to race fans and charity, I want to step to the front of the line and do it," said Sadler.“Speedway Children's Charities has done a lot over the years, raising money for children for good causes. So, it's fun to be a part of it," Mears said.More than $60,000 was raised for the Speedway Children's Charities.
