LAS VEGAS -- As part of NASCAR week, Miss Rodeo got off her horse and onto a much more powerful ride on Thursday.

Maegan Ridley got to ride with the Air Force Thunderbirds at Nellis.

While she might have been a little nervous before, she was all smiles afterward.

“I will have to show off my pin. The power of 9gs on top of me ... unbelievable," Ridley said.

The pilot of the plane can vouch for her. He said she handled the ride like a pro.
