LAS VEGAS -- Thousands turned out on the campus of University Nevada, Las Vegas, Thursday night to protest budget cuts.Gov. Jim Gibbons has proposed to trim over $475 million from higher education in Nevada.Students, faculty and administrators all aimed to put a stop to it.Chancellor Jim Rogers said with the proposed cuts, UNLV tuition would have to go up more than 200 percent.
