UNLV Students To Protest Budget Cuts

LAS VEGAS -- University of Nevada, Las Vegas, students will be joining some faculty members in an on-campus protest Thursday.The students will be rallying against the cuts proposed by Gov. Jim Gibbons in his new budget.Organizers said unity is a main theme. They have used flyers and social networking sites to recruit protestors.The rally will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in front of Beam Hall.
