Two SWAT officers were released from University Medical Center, and one was recovering at UMC from gunshot wounds Monday morning.

Metro police said they were hit while serving a narcotics warrant in the 2900 block of Panorama Ridge Drive, in the Seven Hills area in Henderson at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

As the officers were attempting to gain access to the residence, a man fired shots through the front door, police said.

The two officers who were released were shot in the thigh. The other officer was recovering from surgery after being shot in the hand, police said.

All of the officers are expected to recover, police said.

Police said the man surrendered shortly after the shooting.

Emmanuel Dozier was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on three counts of attempted murder of a police officer with a deadly weapon and narcotic-related charges.

The names of the officers involved will not be released for 48 hours, due to Metro police policy.
