LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County School Board is meeting Thursday night to decide how to cut $120 million from the upcoming budget.Controversy is surrounding a possible vote to cut hundreds of staff positions and possibly not give pay raises for a couple of years.Also, cuts are proposed for things like supplies, sports and after school activities.What gets the OK Thursday night will most likely go before the legislature on Feb. 2.There will likely be reactions, as some people try to prevent some of the proposed cuts.Watch FOX5 News at 10 and 11 and refresh fox5vegas.com for the latest information on the school board’s decision.
