LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County School District sought public input about the budget cuts that could impact students’ education.School leaders needed help figuring out where to find the $120 million that will be cut from the budget for the next two school years. The second budget meeting was held Wednesday night at Chaparral High School. The first town hall meeting on the topic was held Tuesday at Western High School.School administrators heard from parents and students about what should stay and what could be left out.But the Clark County School District said the bad economy is making this decision even more difficult."It'll continue to be very challenging to keep up with the standards we have nationally and by state stand and local standards. With continued reductions in funding, and we are near the bottom, and I assume we're heading toward the bottom with this kind of cut," said CCSD Chief Financial Officer Jeff Weiler.
