LAS VEGAS -- The Neon Museum is in the running for the Hampton Inns’ Save the Landmark Program.

People can vote online for their favorite all-American Nevada Landmark.

If selected, Hampton would aid the Neon Museum in its creation of a permanent home, with a restored La Concha Motel lobby as its visitor's center.

The other landmarks in the running are the Nevada Northern Railway Museum and the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada.

Voting takes place from now until Dec. 5 at Hampton Landmarks.
