LAS VEGAS -- Four former patients have filed class-action lawsuits against a Las Vegas optometrist with a history of medical malpractice claims. That's according to the Review-Journal.According to the suits, Dr. Vikas Jain and his wife, Dr. Anamika Jain, misled patients with advertising about flat-rate laser vision corrective surgery by a board-certified ophthalmologist.Jain, also known as Ken Johnson, has been previously sued 17 times for malpractice, the paper said.He lost his medical license in Ohio in 2005 and has been operating under his wife's license at the Valley Eye Center on Tenaya Way ever since. When contacted by The Associated Press for comment, Jain blamed a disgruntled employee for the complaint.
