"America's Most Wanted" was back in town shooting an episode of the show.

On Friday night, they worked on a case with ties to the Valley.

FOX5 was on the set for "America's Most Wanted" at the Neon Museum. The host, John Walsh, gave a preview of what's in store.

"I'm following up on a very personal case. Lindsay Harris got on the wrong side of life, worked as a personal escort, wound up murdered, but I knew this little girl. She baby-sat at my house years ago. It’s a very personal case to me," Walsh said.

Joining Walsh and the crew on the shoot was AMW's senior investigator, Joe Matthews.

"We are going to be back in a couple of weeks actively investigating this case. We are working it as an active homicide investigation," Matthews said.

"Her remains are found in May in Springfield. We know she was brutally murdered. The name of her pimp was carved on her leg. It changes the whole equation. We are no longer looking for a little girl. We are looking for the murderer of the young lady," Walsh said.

Walsh gave a promise that at the end, they would crack the case.

With more than 20 appearances in Las Vegas, Walsh and "America's Most Wanted" plan to be back in the near future, Walsh said. The episode shot Friday will air Nov. 15 on FOX.
