LAS VEGAS -- A Valley juvenile died Wednesday night after a stabbing, Metro police officer Bill Cassell said.

He said the teenager had been in an argument with another teenager, who stabbed him in the stomach at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the street near Torrey Pines Drive and U.S. 95.

The unarmed victim, whose age was not given, died shortly after reaching University Medical Center, Cassell said.

Police are searching for the stabber and do not yet know the motive.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
