LAS VEGAS -- Valley families made a political statement Monday using shopping carts.Volunteers displayed political shopping carts at Town Square. One was full of about $90 worth of groceries, and the other was empty, except for some antacid. The volunteers said the full cart represented tax cuts under a Barack Obama administration, because Obama said he would cut taxes for 95 percent of taxpayers. They said John McCain would only offer cuts to the wealthiest 1 percent of taxpayers.
