LAS VEGAS -- On Wednesday, Rep. Jon Porter spoke about the tweaked bailout plan that will be voted on by the Senate Wednesday night.Porter said his constituents are hurting, frightened and angry about the proposed $700 billion bailout plan.He said he's disappointed in Congress for not passing the bill the first time around."Congress dropped the ball this week. We're back in session. We’ve got to make sure it happens. I voted for it because I think it helps families here in Nevada. And we've got to take action now … politics aside. We have to stop the partisan bickering," Porter said.
The House will vote on the bill on Friday.
