LAS VEGAS -- Attorneys for both O.J. Simpson and Clarence "C.J." Stewart have completed their arguments in an armed robbery trial.Yale Galanter rested at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday for Simpson, and Judge Jackie Glass then recessed the trial for lunch.After the break, Stewart's attorney called his cousin, Linda Lockheart, to the stand. She testified that Stewart was elsewhere, entertaining friends at the time Simpson and others gathered to plan a hotel room confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers.Court officials said the trial could go to the jury by Thursday.Simpson and Stewart are facing a dozen charges in connection with an armed robbery attempt at the Palace Station Hotel-Casino in September 2007.The pair could face anywhere from five years to life in prison depending on which of the charges they are convicted on.For more information on the Simpson case, visit the case's special section or view the national coverage.
