LAS VEGAS -- Suspended District Judge Elizabeth Halverson is expected to temporarily leave the hospital on Tuesday to testify against her husband. That's according to the Review-Journal.

Halverson was hit multiple times on the head with a frying pan during a domestic dispute last week with husband Edward Halverson, police said. She has been in Sunrise Hospital since the assault, undergoing a surgery to fix her fractured skull and rehabilitation, said a family friend.

Edward Halverson, 49, is being held on $113,000 bail for a count of attempted murder.

Elizabeth Halverson is expected to go back to Sunrise Hospital for an additional three weeks.
