LAS VEGAS -- Metro police said a 2-year-old was found in a pool and may be a victim of a drowning.

Police received a call at 2:33 p.m. Tuesday and responded to the 4100 block of Ridgewood Avenue.

They said they found a 2-year-old in a pool without a heartbeat.

The toddler was given CPR and transported to Sunrise Hospital.

The grandfather was home at the time and called 911.

There was no word Tuesday afternoon on whether or not the child had survived.
